Maker Faire Long Island 2026 is excited to once again feature the beloved Ask a Scientist program, an engaging opportunity for scientists, researchers, faculty, and STEM professionals to connect with the public in a meaningful and memorable way. Visitors will have the chance to ask questions about the world around them, explore the science that fascinates them, and interact directly with experts across a wide range of disciplines.
With more than 200 students expected this year, Ask a Scientist offers a powerful way to inspire curiosity, make science approachable, and show young people what is possible when questions lead to discovery. By participating, you will not only represent your field, but also become part of the energy, creativity, and excitement that make Maker Faire Long Island such a special experience for our community.
