Other Ways to Help – Promote Maker Faire Long Island:

  • Maker Recruitment: Helping the producers identify Makers is very important. If you know someone who is a Maker, please encourage them by filling out our Call for Makers.

  • Spread the Word: Tell your peers about the Maker Faire Long Island. Let them know they can make it awesome by attending, exhibiting and volunteering.

  • Guest Blogger: We are definitely interested in your guest posts on the Maker Faire Long Island site. Please submit your blog post ideas and content to Lisa Rodriguez.

Call For Volunteers (2022)

  • Make sure to tell us about things that you've built or any special skills that you have.
    All volunteers must attend one volunteer training session. Please select the session that you are available to attend. BOTH TRAINING SESSIONS ARE VIRTUAL.
    Please check all hours you are able and willing to assist. You may be scheduled for all of the time blocks you check but we will make sure you get breaks and time to explore the faire! **Volunteers during this time slot will need to assist with set-up and must be able to lift tables and chairs
