What inspired you to make this project?
When I was teaching STEM outreach classes, I found one of the biggest obstacles for students to get into microcontrollers was setting up the coding environment. This problem was even more prominent when the classes were given online. So I created an online IDE that requires nothing but a Chrome browser which greatly simplified the setup process and solved the problem. Even though I am no longer a teacher, I continue to improve the IDE. It is now a helpful tool not only for educators but for makers as well.
