Chaotic Rainbows Jewelry

Jessica Loftus
Long Island native Jessica Loftus has been creating jewelry for 10 years and is always trying to find something new and different to create. Making jewelry by combining new and vintage elements acted as a sort of “art therapy” and soon enough, what had started as a hobby began to bloom into a business. “I've always been drawn to things that are out of the ordinary and when I discovered steampunk jewelry I was instantly hooked. Over the years I’ve taken many custom orders and have expanded my jewelry making repertoire to include beaded designs and even bead embroidery, but my real passion will always be re-purposing vintage watch pieces and other odds and ends in order to create something one of a kind that has a unique history.”

What inspired you to make this project?
Making jewelry is my own form of "art therapy" where I can put all my focus and energy into creating something whole out of what was once only materials. Steampunk and found object jewelry is especially special to me because it symbolizes how all people are beautiful on the inside and can rebuild from broken pieces.
