FRC Cybercats Robotics

Robotics
FRC is an annual season where high school teams, along with their coaches and mentors, design, build, and program robots. Each year, the competition features a unique game with specific challenges that the robots must complete. Most recently, in our 2024-2025 season– Reefscape, the objective is to place Coral (a 4-inch diameter PVC pipe) on the reef (1.25-inch diameter pole), with the first 15 seconds of each match fully autonomous and the subsequent 2 minutes and 15 seconds under driver control.

We look forward to sharing with you everything behind the robot!

Cybercats

We are FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 2872, also known as CyberCats, from The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, New York. Our team consists of over 20 passionate high schoolers dedicated to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) - meeting every day for over 6 hours during the 6-week build season. For the past 16 years, we have been designing, building, and programming robots to complete tasks for each season.
